Completely mismanaged company. Can't get a call back. When I do they're very rude and terse. Unable to schedule appointments within a reasonable timeframe. Can't comment on the actual doctor because I can't get the appointment in the first place. Their medical business manager needs a manager. Office completely disorganized. Skip the hassle and go somewhere else.

I recently had a root canal performed by Dr. Korkoz, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, Gretchen, the office manager, set a welcoming and reassuring tone. She was warm, friendly, and took the time to clearly explain the financial arrangements and answer all of my insurance-related questions. Dr. Korkoz greeted me with the same professionalism and kindness. She explained the procedure thoroughly beforehand and continued to communicate each step as she worked, which made me feel informed and at ease throughout the process. Her skill and precision were evident—I experienced very little discomfort during the procedure and minimal pain afterward. Once finished, she provided clear, practical post-procedure instructions, including guidance on pain management and saltwater rinses. Dr. Korkoz is an exceptional endodontist—highly skilled, professional, and attentive to patient comfort. Based on my experience, I highly recommend her and her team.

I was recently referred to an endodontist by my primary care dentist to see about getting a root canal retreat. My dentist recommended a few different endodontists and unfortunately, none of them were considered an in-network provider with my insurance company. So, I looked through my insurance company’s website to see who was in network, and the only endodontist in my region was Dr. Korkosz in Schenectady. I made an appointment with Dr. Korkosz, and they were booking at least 6 weeks out, so I made the appointment. I went there to get my x-rays and found out that the root canal retreat was going to cost me about $400 upfront. I asked Dr. Korkosz’s admin person (Gretchen) if she could get me a pre-treatment estimate through my insurance company, to which she replies that they don’t do that. I thought that was kind of “shady”. I asked them if they could send the results of the x-ray to my dentist and it took a long time for them to do that. They do not use e-mail and only use regular snail mail. Even my dentist had a hard time getting information from them when they called. They do not return calls. I called ahead of time to reschedule an appointment, no one ever answers so I left a voicemail. I didn’t hear anything back from anyone and called back a day later to try and reschedule, still no answer or call back. The day of my appointment came and went and I still have not heard from anyone, each time I call it goes to voicemail and I can’t get through to anyone.

Highly, highly recommend! Dr. Korkosz is great at making you feel comfortable and explaining the process/your issue thoroughly. Her office manager Gretchen is also outstanding! Very friendly office who was able to get me in quickly for my root canal. They are also a no pressure office which really makes you feel genuinely cared for as a patient. 10/10 stars!
